  1. how many GB are you pushing? Where is the current server vs new? What upload speeds are you dealing with?
  2. awesome! Keep up the good work!
  3. can we post again for now or can we still possibly lose the posts?
  4. Door looks great!!! The problem with measuring a lot for me is I start to argue with myself on what is correct after awhile ..then I have to start all over ?
  5. pics or it didnt happen ... I think everything is still in pieces on your bench ? You gonna be glad once this one is done?
  6. hah! ? It could be my new signature technique I was thinking of doing that, but due to not being able to just clamp the whole thing together at once since it is not structurally able to handle it ... so have just accepted this way for this glue up. Unless you mean just glue and tack it and be done with it?
  7. Hah! I am hoping so ? once I get it all glued up and can sand it a little more, I think they will turn out 'ok'ish' but yes I think it should be minor enough most may not really even notice it I love mine for things like this, or holding my hose on my little router table ... odd jobs etc etc. I dont use them for anything major as I stick with my bessey's for that. I had noticed they can pull pieces out of alignment if you dont watch it. So that is why I use them for the odd jobs and nothing important after seeing that. Maybe I just got a bad batch? I dont know ... This is where I stand after a day of gluing with kid pickup and soccer practice ... will finish the other roughly 7 hours of gluing tomorrow based on my progress speed today.
  8. Possibly? I went just shy of 1/4 deep ... I do plan on sanding more to soften them a little more and maybe that will help out.
  9. At this rate, I will be gluing all day today and may some tomorrow. I dont have enough smaller clamps that fit in between, So I can glue up the 3 pieces, and then add the next frame, then 3 pieces etc etc .. leaving for 45 mins to an hour on each ... only 16 more to go ?
  10. got everything routed ... Doesnt look horrible and it fixed the problem. However, probably not something I would do again haha. The look just isnt for me... Maybe it will grow on me ?? haha
  11. going for the v groove cut today ... sanded everything yesterday and after 4 hours I was worn out haha. A lot more hand sanding that I was expecting. Will get some pics of this wonderful adventure ? Then I will start gluing up everything, but pretty sure that is going to be another slow process as I can do it half and half or anything. Pretty much have to go leg by leg due to the design. Should be interesting haha!
  12. Something like that I was pondering as well ... haha that would be a loooot of veneer/money ? I never thought of this, but a slight v groove might actually look kinda cool.
  13. These will be seen they are on top ... unless decorations cover them up
  14. Here is a shot of some of the ones that did not line up 100% ... probably have 5 or 6 like this out of 20. assuming glue and sanding dust from rounding the edges and rub it in there should correct it?
  15. Got everything routed and cut ... Then had to come up with this crazy contraption to try and glue these things up ... overall it went really well. There are a couple gaps I need to fill due to getting a little close on the sanding or a router issue. Fully clamped up .. tried my best to keep things close to 90* it was rough!!
  16. After taking some time off earlier this month, I decided its time to get back at it .. Got all the parts cut out roughly ... Blue Tape trick worked like a dream!! Then to sand to get it closer to the template and less routing needed ... nothing a little 40 grit paper cant take care of ?
  17. haha ... if we are lucky!! This may be awhile!
  18. These poll people are like the weathermen ... right about 60-70% of the time It was annoying watching last night, "Biden/Trump is leading, buuuuuut this were mail in/in person ballots and they have not counted the day of/mail in, soooooo where does that put us ... we have no idea, but we will keep you updated" I heard that soooo many times I wanted to throw the TV out the window! Why are you even talking about it if you have as much of a clue as me sitting here ...
  19. lol! it is funny how painting just sucks the life out of projects! Great looking vanity though, even if it is painted...
  20. Got the legs traced out ... waiting for my template bit to get here now that I ordered so gonna be a slow few days.
  21. Yes it will be heavily used to join everything this project
  22. Not yet, but yes the plan is to bring them down to 3/4 thick at final thickness.
  23. Haha. Ya it takes a few samples to remember how to setup the D4R! this is looking great!
