  1. Coop you are just upset you aren’t getting a Ferrari from Spanky. 😀😎
  2. Poplar is another HW that takes paint well.
  3. Coop, Prototyping is huge if you aren’t following the golden ratio or if you can tell from your design if things look right. Now I say this with times changing in lumber prices. On bigger pieces, I would use a 2x4 (surfaced or not) and just screw together so you can take apart, on legs you can clamp so you can see if it looks right. If $9 a 2x4 is too pricey you can find some cheap Cletus wood, pallet wood (blasphemy) strictly for this purpose.
  4. Don’t blame you for taking advantage of this opportunity. When you start driving a Ferrari to the mill then we may have a problem!
  5. Looks good. My only thought is to make the bottom drawer 6” and the top whatever is left over. To me the curve sort of makes it look to wide.
  6. Makes sense, and reshooting seems like a big hassle, just looked off compared to your norm.
  7. I wish I would have seen this before I made mine. The lighting around the TS seemed darker than usual.
  8. Maybe a good chance to dabble in a veneer project! Haven’t really done that in a video yet.
  9. I don’t know how it would look or if it is too cost prohibitive but I wonder if you built out of wenge and the AM as the accents.
  10. Really well done. Honey Do list has night stands (tables) next?
  11. I almost had 1 today, I was walking through HD and the price of lumber and sheet goods stopped me in my tracks. I need a 2 x 6 x 12 PT board to do a down and dirty repair on our deck, price tag $22. I looked at sheet goods, 7/16 OSB $48/sheet, 1/2” sheathing $74/sheet, 3/4” maple ply $68/sheet. It’s a good thing I’m not building or doing any remodeling projects.
  12. Looks great, now it’s time to properly break it in! Just make sure to take your shoes off first. 😂
  13. I don’t think finding deep pockets will do much good with my alligator arms! They really limit my reach.
  14. Not sure how it happened but all my pockets seem to be 1 knuckle deep at the moment. 😳
  15. Maybe you need a medium shed for storing clamps and a spray booth. Any problem is solvable with the green stuff! 😀
  16. You should have set up the master bedroom as the spray booth, wouldn’t have to move so far. I’m sure the Mrs wouldn’t have minded a night or 2 away from home!
  17. Move it into the bedroom ASAP and maybe you could avoid them!
  18. I believe Chet is 100% correct on this. I know for certain that if you have the TS75 and TS55 you need to adjust so both are the same.
  19. Would she be interested in coming back east and mowing my lawn? I’m getting tired of cutting the grass, I think I need a ZTR or a riding mower
  20. Great job! The figure around the cross really makes a statement.
  21. And of course she got what she wanted! Looks really good, I like the contrast between the AM and wenge.
  22. You could use the design from the file cabinet bases from the desk
  23. Great job Chet. Like your version better, am I’m not just saying that to be a nice guy. Your top drawer provides more visual interest than the faux through tenons.
