  1. Looks great! Hopefully them using isn’t to far off.
  2. It was several years ago. Don’t know exactly.
  3. I got mine from Lee Valley, first order was messed up, told me to keep and sent me correct order.
  4. I may be late to answer, but what about doing a single dovetail? It could be a different look, should be easy to cut, but then again it could also look crappy. Maybe a test in some scrap pine.
  5. Mistakes happen and they can make you feel defeated. I have a serious question, do you feel that you make more mistakes when you are filming? Next question, do you feel that because of your work schedule being home and trying to get a lot of projects done in that time leads to more mistakes? My mistake that was 2 questions, see we all make them! 😀😀
  6. What does she actually want built? I would help, but since they are “large pieces”, I probably don’t have the room, plus I’m still 6 hours away from Maine. I don’t really know any woodworkers in New England area, but I could ask on the Sawmill Creek forum if you wanted me to get a few names to pass on.
  7. I’m probably the closest member to Maine, but still incredibly far. I think you need to find a way to crate and ship. I don’t know if you watch Blacktail Studio on YT but he may be someone to ask cause he has sent projects from Oregon to NY.
  8. I think it’s an auxiliary fence for miter gauge.
  9. How come you didn’t use your HCM? Dry fit looks good!
  10. Is the permanent top going on after the changing table is done being used? If so how are you attaching to the casework? What are you doing for a finish? I’m not sure what works well with the potential for accidental 1 & 2 exposure.
  11. Great way to help out another! I have gotten scrap from members of other forums. Sometimes the piece can be a good way to practice a new technique with something other than pine or other softwood.
  12. Coop, this is cheating! Your using power tools to cut parts for a miter box, this should be done by hand! Looks good though.
  13. Happy Thanksgiving All! Now to completely ruin my recent weight loss success!
  14. Same height as the counter surface?
  15. I agree, that became a really easy choice.
  16. If they had that might make the decision super easy!
  17. I haven’t looked at all the places in a long time, but I believe it can be had through Amazon, Woodcraft, Acme, and there was a place Circle Saw in Houston that carries Rikon and heard they have a good reputation, but I know you will do your research on features and availability.
  18. I edited my previous with the less expensive 18” model. I know there may not be a lot of reviews, but some wood turners I watch on occasion use it. They throw large logs at this thing and it has no issues.
  19. If I was buying a new BS this is what I would get. In my opinion it is the best bang for the buck, plus it would handle everything, even that rare situation. https://www.rikontools.com/product/10-347 They also have the 10-342 which is a little les robust, but also costs less
  20. Looking good, your flying through this build, may need to start calling you Kev Jr. 😀
  21. Coop, looks like if life gives you lemons, make lemonade project. Looking forward to the build!
  22. To post on IG or TikTok all you need is your phone. The goal is to just shoot a quick update video, it doesn’t need to be professionally edited. I’m guessing how you look at work and in the shop is similar. The script would be something like. Hey this is Kev on Friday I will be releasing the next video on the Router Bit cabinet on my YouTube channel. Also have discussions about my projects on my Forum, check out both the links are in my description. Then you # different woodworking terms. In total may take 5-10 minutes. You should be able to add links in your profile for both your channel and forum.
