  1. Haven’t heard a word back yet. Primo product but piss poor sales/customer service.
  2. The assembly of the carcass went well today. I moved the assembly to the patio for more room and I still have a full sheet of 3/4” ply that I laid across two saw horses for the assembly table. I know most of you guys build the face frame first, then the box but I still can’t wrap my head around that. So, The three piece face frame ( no bottom rail) is in clamps now. My wife swears that this pic looks nothing like what she wants! 🙈 So guys, is the consensus that a single 36” wide drawer with a two panel drawer front to match the doors be too wide? I can make them two separate side by side but now we are talking less than 18” wide. There will not be a stile between the doors above.
  3. Jamie, looks like you have your act together! Good job. Out of curiosity, what formula did you use to determine the width of your rails and stiles? Will you be using the ts to cut your raised panels or the router/shaper?
  4. That just sounds like a lot of good info! I’ll just pop a bag of popcorn before watching it!
  5. I like that a lot! Looking forward to the finishing video.

Damn nice trade! What is the width of the Grizz? opps, went back and read, 24”. Nice!
  7. Since you’re waiting on glides and it’s your thread anyway, I guess we’re not highjacking? Is there a lot of elevation changes in the courses there?
  8. With a dozen mulligans and a half dozen gimmies, I’d still be high man in your foursome 😀
  9. is Your golf game as good as your woodworking game?
  10. What thickness as a optimal goal? DT’s?
  11. Did you order the glides you normally use? Hopefully they are bottom mount so I can learn. Are you holding off building the drawers until you receive them to be on the safe side?
  12. As I cut the rabbet in the side panels for the top with the dado stack and the dado for the shelf with a router, there was a wee bit of difference in the depths of the two cuts. The router plane took out the difference. One of those tools that I don’t use often but sure comes in handy when the need arises.
  13. I usually mark an arrow indicating which side of my mark to put my guide but didn’t in this case. I caught it before make the second pass with the router. As it will be painted and it’s on the inside, any kind of filler strip will do. A shallow dado for a fixed shelf to fit into.
  14. It is taller as I am eliminating the top layer of drawers. Not sure if the pic has four drawers or two wide drawers but mine will have only one wide drawer at about 36”. I am making it in two sections with the break at the molding above the drawer. Wife only agreed with two raised panels in each door and not the proportions. That was my decision based on what our two panel door looks like going into the bedroom. Again, I don’t do proportions well at all and welcome all suggestions. I could make them equal for that matter. Appreciate the input.
  15. Ok, I thought you already had the case glued up. Finishing the slats are not that bad if you use a rag and I think you mostly do.
  16. I’m curious as to how you built AND attached the shelf?
  17. 😀 I ended up doing it on the router table. The only reason for asking is that I had 4 ea. 6’ pieces and wondered if there was a faster way to do it safely and the groove was only 3/8” deep.
  18. Also, as the groove will need to be 1/4” wide, it would mean multiple passes and multiple exposure to a dangerous situation so yeah, I chose the router table.
  19. The cut I am referring to would be a groove along the edge of a board (stiles) to capture a panel. The rails and stiles are joined by dominos and I didn’t want the groove to extend the length of the stile so it would be a stopped groove, ending prior to the first Domino. A plunge cut, similar to what you would do with a router. Hope that makes sense?
  20. Should have included Kev’s response in that he thought the same.
  21. JMO, but I would rather see and learn more from a longer video rather than cut it short and wonder. BTW, appreciate the detail in all of your videos.
  22. I asked this of Kev via pm but should have posted it here if anyone was interested and could receive benefit. Question was, is it safe to plunge cut a groove into the edge of a board on the ts to receive a panel. I thought it risky and took the slow route, using the router table, a little bit at a time. Has anyone taken the ts route?
  23. That’s a video in itself! Buenos Suerte!
  24. How much clearance will you have above the shelf. With all due respect, is it worth it?
