  1. Living in the same area, it was nice to be able to drop them off and pick up. Heck they even sharpened a blade once while I went to lunch (must have been slow that day), but usually was 2-3 days.
  2. I had this jig, still might, but agree with your assessment.
  3. He did more work than my 16 year old, but then again, your son doing anything for 10 seconds would be more.
  4. Geez Coop at this rate you should have no problem using these to hold 30 pounds of Depends!😂😂
  5. I don’t see how that’s going to hold 30 pounds just going into drywall with no anchor. I think Coop should hang 30 pounds of his favorite adult beverage and see how long it takes before he has to replenish his stock.
  6. As for mounting options, since you are still working I would go with the least work, but slightly higher price, especially if these become a semi production item. This would be a great place for a laser engraver where you could personalize for the kids room it’s going in. Wood burning could accomplish the same thing just more time consuming. Now the counter to this, would you may be limited to species like maple or other light wood for it to show up good.
  7. No need to apologize to us. We have all been there at some point. I agree with Kev about small claims court, however if you have no documentation it could be a crap shoot. The other option is tell her she has 3 options, 1) paint the garage by a certain date, 2) pay you for materials, 3) tell her your coming to remove the island.
  8. Just make sure your down wind when you fart or you my knock yourself out.
  9. I really like them. I would choose the finish that doesn’t allow the maple to yellow. The way you designed to create the leaf is really interesting.
  10. Do a search for Harry Epstein, PEC squares. The sell blemished squares, they are top quality but at good prices.
  11. Gotcha, I know there has to be some give cause it needs to move to different parts of the table.
  12. Shouldn’t some of the slack be removed from the flex hose?
  13. Jamie. Is there any way you can just get a refund from HD. It may be worth looking at the hitachi saws from Lowe’s. I have the 12” slider that can slide forward or back. It is built like a tank, but it has been accurate and remains that way even after I move. I don’t have space to keep set up permanently.
  14. Sorry to hear you got a lemon. I haven’t looked at miter saws in quite some time, but looking at your set up, aren’t you going to have issues with the depth of a Makita slider?
  15. I would find a somewhat hidden spot just outside of the shop, take 2 sticks and pound them in the ground and make a little clothesline you can drape over the line or use a clothes pin if windy. This gets them off the ground.
  16. I don’t see how you wouldn’t have lines going across the screen with a roll up screen. Plus if that’s what it looks like, no thank you.
  17. Kev was the dog walking around at the beginning a German Shepherd or a mix? Good video as usual.
  18. You could search console cabinet, or tv stand. I usually search for stuff online or go to furniture store and take some pictures with phone. The good thing is you can get basic measurements as well. Just need to remember the following phrase “it’s going in a unique location and got to see if it fits”.
  19. Coop, if you google accuscribe I think you will find it.
  20. You were on a holiday bender and it wasn’t over until after New Years! 😀
  21. I don’t think there is a rule of thumb, I think having a few random widths would be good, or whatever uses less material. Since your width is 19”, at some point your going to have a different board, so I would incorporate 1 or 2 random widths. So if you went 1 1/2”, that would be an even number to 18”, that would leave a single 1” board, which may look like you just ran out of boards and added an extra to make up for it being short.
  22. I would assume people caught on to Ted’s scam and his cousin Buck took over.
