  1. I've always found this interesting. Because I always use the dust collection, I've never wanted cordless. The 55 is great and will handle most tasks.. I recently added the 55 to my collection and it's quickly become my go to because it's smaller and lighter.
  2. Progress looks good! Cabinets next?
  3. This one is finally live!
  4. @Ray Martin, I moved this to it's own project. It's looking Great! How did the adjustable shelf work out?

    Penn State

For those of you ordering from Penn State, I found this pretty cool and could save you a few bucks.. If you drop some items in your shopping cart and let them sit a couple of days, they'll send you a coupon code to get you to order.. Hey, 10% is 10% .. https://www.pennstateind.com
  6. Were some long days for sure! Looking forward to seeing @Olie finish this one up!
  7. Our temps were a bit warmer at around 3 degrees and all my units were working fine.. Not sure about @Ray Martin though..
  8. Some of them shut down at a certain temperature to protect themselves. Our pump for the house shut down today so, we only had the furnace. The shop ones kept going but, wasn't much warmer than what you're getting.. Definitely a bit colder than normal!
  9. I talked with my wife this morning and she reported that it seemed the mini splits were struggling a little but that it was still plenty warm in the shop..
  10. Video is now up and available..
  11. It's coming along great @Ray Martin!
  12. Does Kim know you left a box on her desk? 🤣
  13. Yes, that's standard construction.. Was when I was in WA as well..
  14. Possibly.. I maintain temperature in my shop all the time and the split is really efficient. If you're only heating or cooing occasionally, probably not. I think where you live, there's probably a great deal of the year that you're not using either?
  15. Mine has never let me down.. I don't expect @Ray Martin's will act any differently.. We shall see.
  16. Those are pretty cool! Did you purchase the blanks or make them yourself? Where did you pick up the metal parts?
  17. Maybe just pull the Romex and then hire an electrician to tie it in for you..
  18. Nice! I assume you can get in the attic space? Wouldn't be too difficult to add a switch to the lights.. It looks brighter than mine but, pictures can be deceiving..
  19. So I goofed up and forgot to snag some pictures before these left the shop today.. I didn't realize it until the client sent me this picture to express how happy they were with the products..
  20. Thanks.. Now I just have to get through some turning projects and refine my work flow and drawer organization!
  21. Table client is back asking for some more turning.. Her dad has some spinal issues which are creating a loss of feeling in his fingers. So, they've asked me to turn some utensil handles that he can actually hold on to.. I needed a project with the new lathe set up and they already bought the lumber (scrap from the trestle table) so, what the heck.. Turned the prototype today which was approved.. Here's the steak knife before epoxy... The feral will push on further but, I need to be able to get it off so that I can add epoxy..
