  1. I’m pretty sure I saw this on The Woodwhisper but not sure. I needed to join two pieces of wood long grain and leave a slight reveal, less than the adjustments would allow for. The young lady that demonstrated this, said to use some material as shims on the Domino plate. I used double back tape and casino players cards and it worked perfectly.

  2. Back in the ‘80’s, the AHJ started requiring drawings of our proposed fire suppression system installations to obtain permits. We bought a used tilt top drafting table but it was a little much for an 8 1/2 x 11” drawing so I found this. It has served me well.

  4. We just returned from a Thanksgiving trip to Franklinton LA, which required going thru Baton Rouge. The trip there required us to park on I-10, in front of a sign that said BR 15 miles, for 2 1/2 hours due to an 18 wheel accident (fortunately, no one was injured) and a 45 min drive back thru due to traffic. I wish there was a way to get from point A to point B without going thru that town!

  5. Realizing that all ts are configured differently but sitting here looking at mine, there is adequate room on the side of my cabinet to cut a square hole for another port and if faced with your situation, that’s what I would do. The dc on my saw leaves a lot to be desired as the majority of the dust is dumped towards the front (direction of the blade) and my port is in the back. I think I just talked myself into adding a second port!
