Looks good Coop! Now you just need to build more for the 30 not shown! 😂😂
None in the background and none in the foreseeable future, thus the two spaces at the top for plastic storage bins. But, the upper center divider is installed with Kreg screws so, never say never. 😁

Yeah,I would have been concerned about the alignment and not the strength. Glad it worked well for you.

Looks GREAT!
Kinda ballsy not to use dominos on a piece that long.why did you opt not to use them? -
That’s cool! Really nice!

You’re right. At first glance, I thought the first had more surface glue joints but they are equal. And the second requires less rabbet cuts! Thanks

Fantastic job. If you didn’t know better, you would have thought they built the room around the table!

Back to the router bit cabinet, I see that none are labeled. Do you pretty much recognize the profile and function of each one?
-
Thanks. That answered two questions as I wondered what a DRO was.

What is the black thing mounted to the piece of wood attached to the bottom left of the bit cabinet?
-
Hopefully it’s the humidity or something similar and not the oil itself. I sure like the way the first coat made the grain pop.

Ok, thanks. Obviously with the pic you posted, there weren’t burn marks shown but, just wondered. But, with a fresh blade, there would be minimal burn marks? I think this needs to be my next investment, thanks to you and @Chet

Obviously, with the thickness of that board. Given the thickness, does it leave any burn marks that need to be cleaned up?
-
Ok, thanks. Thus my question if you were left handed but I guess you don’t have to be! I was envisioning you on top of the slab, running the saw thru with your right hand. Thanks for the promptness!

Kev, if time allows, when you get it flipped over and before you apply finish, will you temporarily set up your track saw as if you were cutting the bevel, and take a pic? Again, not owning a track saw, a pic is worth a thousand words as the old saying goes. Appreciate ya if have the time.

Kev, is there a formula for the qty and distance between C-Channels or in your case the C-Channel and the leg base? Is one not needed towards each end?

You’re right, I have one of the stackable green feather boards and it does a great job. I think it is actually about the same height as my add on bs fence.

I saw this on your initial post but forgot to comment. I bet it’s a lot better on the bs than a feather board when re-sawing!
-
That’s a neat profile for the edge. Kev, are you left handed with a left handed track saw? If not, wouldn’t it be better to cut the edge from the bottom? I don’t own a track saw so maybe I’m not asking the correct question?

Have you considered what you will attach the feet to the table with? Not much meat there with a whole lot of weight going on. Maybe 1/2” carriage bolts? 😂

That is one big piece to work single handed 🙂
Looks great
I hope his wife works out at the gym more than mine does! 😂

All great ideas. I use the A / F method you speak of on my ts but never thought about using it on the jointer. Thanks

Kev, you showed running one edge thru the jointer then later, trimming them to width. Did you just trim one edge and leave the jointed edge. I find my jointed edges less than satisfactory for a glue up and usually run both edges, the jointed edge against the ts fence first and then trim the rough edge. And too, I have a 6” jointer and not the setup that you have.

I bought the RAS 115 E after making a chair for my daughter and never took it out of the box. Correct on the other two. I have considered the track saw many times, thus the Kreg attached instead of dado shelf. I guess that was kinda of a gotcha! I have 5-6 different routers so no, that won’t be in the future.
On the build, I looked at your storage system below, I believe, your miter saw bench, and thought, how much more functional and simple could it be. Thanks for the inspiration.
