Do you guys, and I guess I could look back on this thread, use2x6’s for wall studs instead of 2x4’s as a standard for greater insulation? I would imagine that half of our school districts will shut down next week when it reaches the low 20’s until it passes.

I probably don’t turn it on for more than 6 to 8 hours a day, 30 or so days a year.

I currently have a window unit that provides cool and heat to my shop. I wonder, in our climate, if a mini split would be more efficient ?

I honestly didn’t know it ever got that cold in the lower 48 states!

We’ve got a hard freeze (mid to low 20’s) coming up early next week and just out of curiosity, I checked the weather for Kalispell and holy crap! Will be interested to know how warm the mini split keeps the shop in -30* temps? Or when it gets that cold, do you just stay inside and snuggle with mamma and say screw the shop?

Ray, have you had your equipment in storage or just moved it from your existing shop to the new one?

I Googled Natura to see how it is applied. I see that it is a two part, similar to Rubio, I think? The reason I said I think, I went back and visited your thread about Fiddes vs Rubio, 2-25-23. In the video you said that Rubio comes in two parts, although you don’t need the hardner. Why not the hardner? Second question. With the Natura, using the hardner, once mixed, do you just toss any remaining, and if you come up short, do you mix a new batch and toss what’s left of that? Personally, I can’t see me going to a two part finish due to the wastefulness and the fact that there are too many comparable (subjective) finishes out there. Please enlighten me if I’m incorrect.
