    @Kevpretty chilly in the morning still. After the 6th should be great. Will have heat and insulation in. Should be nice and cozy for mud and taping when you get back. Lol. Unless you requested that extension. Will have some of the mud done by the time you return. Hurry home bud, that's when the real work starts. 😆

    Garage door Installation tomorrow, insulation on the 1st of November then mini splits on the 6th. Oh, when Kevin returns hopefully plywood rest of the drywall for the craft room . Didn't want Kevin to feel left out lol.

    Drywall for the ceiling is up. There were 4 of us and started at 5. Fed everyone dinner and we were done at 9:30. What a relief to have that done. Next will be insulation. Getting closer by the day.

    @Coopyes it did get a bit smaller. You're right though, still plenty big. Have truly been blessed through this entire build.

    Had a neighbor help with building the wall between shop and craft room today. Starting ceiling Monday evening.

    48 sheets of drywall delivered today. 22 sheets of 1/2" being delivered Monday. Was supposed to be today but someone messed up. Putting up dividing wall between shop and craft room tomorrow. Ceiling goes up Monday. Insulation in as soon as ceiling is done. Things are looking up.

    Well I finally have power to the shop. Sub panel is complete and I actually have usable power. Sheetrock being delivered today.

    Moving along. Electrician is currently here to get power from the main breaker to the shop. We will tie in sub panel this evening. Sheet rock being delivered Wednesday. Already have people scheduled to help get it into the shop. Of course it's supposed to rain that day.

    @KevOK bud . Looking forward to your return. Sheet rock being delivered on the 11th and garage door installed on the 20th. Possibility you will be home before the 20th? Ready to rock and roll.

    @Coopthat's the nice thing about being retired. I'm not an electrician by trade so takes me a little longer. Not going to tie in the panel as not comfortable doing so.

    @Coop yes I am retired. Thank goodness for that. Think what I am doing with the ceiling is to hang the rock and then blow in insulation. Well that's the plan for today. 😆. I purchased one of those lifts from Harbor Freight about a month ago. Rental was $70 a day. There's no way I could get all of the drywall up in a couple of days so decided to purchase one. That also takes the fun out of being retired.

    Well I finished the electrical today. Used more ROMEX then I thought I would. So far750'. Still have the dividing wall for craft room / shop to do. Already dropped the wire for that as you may be able to see in the pictures. Have a call into the electrician for connection to the main panel from the house. Everybody very busy in the valley and hope he can squeeze me in. Sheet rock for the ceiling is next. Need to finish where the garage door is going first as it is scheduled to be installed on the 20th of next month.

    4 days and 2 hours is what it took for them to complete the construction. Amazing. Now its on me. Currently wiring for electrical

    @pkineeb yeah we've been waiting since early March for this to happen. Still have a lot of work to do when they leave. Ready to get started .

    Thought I would post a few pictures on the progress of the construction of the shop. this is progress for the first two days . I do believe that this could in fact be completed within the week they said. AMAZING.

    Morning Coop . Things seem to be ramping up and am very excited. They are telling me Wednesday for start date. Hopefully a week later they will be done. I will be doing the finish work inside. Electrical, insulation and drywall. Things are coming together.

    Good morning all. Well the time is certainly getting close. Materials were dropped off yesterday morning. They are saying construction will start on the 6th of September (Wednesday). Their sticking to the one week build. Looks like everything is pre cut and all they have to do is put it together. Will update as they move forward. Getting exciting.

    Just a quick update. Materials are supposed to be delivered on August 31rst. Hoping building starts right after Labor Day.
