Kev
Both of our spare rooms needed a couple floating shelves under the TVs in those rooms.. I had ordered the brackets long ago for this project and finally got around to making the shelves today. The lumber was initially earmarked for the bed rails on the last bed that I built but, they only came in at a little over 4" each. Putting them back together gave me a nice seam and enough material for a heavy 8" shelf which is all we wanted in each room. Finish is General Finishes Hard Wax oil.. Now, if I could just find my stud finder, I'd get them installed.. @webmaster, you got my stud finder in your new apartment?
Coop
I’ve never made these. Did you drill the holes at the drill press?
Kev
Just now, Coop said: I’ve never made these. Did you drill the holes at the drill press? I drilled 1/2 the hole at the drill press before the glue up and then finished the holes to full depth after the glue up. I routed the backs after the glue up to give me more material in the vise.
