Kev
I think I mentioned here someplace that my wife's uncle passed away a few days ago and it was requested that I build an urn. This is more of a "memorial" urn and won't store his ashes. Bubinga and Wenge Only the box is glued up in this picture as I'm still assessing all the other pieces. Feet 3 parts of the lid I will be rushing this one a bit as I have to have it in Georgia by June First.
Chet
How thick is the box material on this? Kev
Still have to block sand and apply a couple more coats of finish but, it's essentially done.
Coop
I can’t access the final pic. In the first pic, that is a great design for the lid!

Coop
Got it now, thanks. Don’t know how you got from the first pic of the lid to the second, and I like the final, but I’m going to keep the first one in mind as it looks pretty cool.

The only difference is a slightly different camera angle and the pic I posted to you came from the video. 2

Coop
Great video Kev. Do you use a flat ground ts blade to cut the slots for the splines?

The blades from my stack are a flat grind.. I should have done a better job of pointing that out in the video.
