Spanky
Yes and I just sent this week 61 bdft of Tiger Hard Maple to Delaware, plus I have Butternut lumber going too. Coop you need to get up early in the morning to run with the Delaware Boy!

My price would be $8.50 bdft. But, I don’t get alot of curly white oak lumber, maybe 100 to 200 bdft in a year. Last year I sold around 100 to 150 bdft of it. Here’s a couple of pictures of some I cut last year.

Coop
For some reason or another, when it crosses the Texas border, it must get a tariff or something added! ?
Spanky
I will be cutting two curly white oak logs this coming week. But, I have it all sold. If anybody wants any, I would need to put you on The List. You need to saw a lot of white oak logs to get any curly white oak lumber. It’s rare!

Spanky
Kev, I may be able to send you half of Coop’s lumber free to you, just pay the shipping cost. He hasn’t seen the log, so if he says anything about the lumber, I will tell him he just brought a small pecker pole log. ? I will put a Houston price on the log.

Coop
FYI Did you know that a tree grows from the top up? I’ve often wondered. I talked to Spanky last night and he confirmed. So if a tree has a branch at 6’, it will always be at 6’, left undisturbed. Just a little tree trivia.
Coop
Also, the beech tree, due to it’s thin smooth bark, has very little sap wood. And, according to Spanky, the cypress tree has no pith. Very educational conversation it was. Thanks Rickey for that.
