  1. Those might work. I'll have to check the dimensions. The volume is correct so long as they are wide enough at the mouth to slip over the collector barrel. Thank you! Kev, did you have a 55gal dust collector drum on your Grizzly?
  2. Thanks, Ken. I saw those when I googled for bags. We have a harbor freight here so I might drop in and see if I can find them. The only concern is they are sold by harbor freight. Still, they are a lot cheaper than Grizzly.
  3. Thank you! I went to their website and it appears you have to buy a whole carton. I don't think I'll be needing that many.
  4. Hello all! It's been a while. Life has sort of gotten in the way of my participation. Anyway.....I need to buy some dust collector bags (liners) for my 55gal cyclone. I'm looking for a less expensive place to buy instead of Grizzly. Their bags are around $10 each plus shipping. Certainly someone sells quality bags for less money. I'm hoping someone has found a better source. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Kent

  7. Welcome, Allen!
  8. I agree with Bryan. Poplar takes paint very well. I've never painted maple or wanted to. That's my 2 cents worth.

  10. Well, to my surprise, I was able to get ALL of the torx screws out without any new purchases. I sprayed some WD40 on the screw that was giving me fits and amazingly it came out after some slight tapping on the torx bit. I have all new cutters in my 15" planer now and it cuts like it did when it was new. Thanks everyone for the responses.
  11. Thanks, Kev! I really appreciate your effort! I didn't know what to really search for.
  12. I'm in the process of replacing all my carbide cutters on my 15" helical planer. One of the screws just won't come out and I've messed up the stars on the head of the screw to the point that my torx bit won't work. The good thing is that it's the one on one of the ends and doesn't see as much action. Any suggestions on how to remove this screw is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kent
  13. Beautifully done, Kev. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
